The Springfield Ravens is a youth sports program with the mission of strengthening youth and families through sports and family events.
The Ravens have had various teams playing through the Springfield Park Board, Boys and Girls Club and the Champion Youth Football league.
With the cost of youth sports we try and provide most of the equipment for our sports program. We have families with various backgrounds and financial needs. All fundraisers are to raise money for equipment, family events and team trips.
The Springfield Ravens is the one of the only teams who provide football pads and uniforms for their kids.
We are Paul and Meagan Hopkins and we are missionaries to Peru. We have three daughters, Sarah, Brooke, and Maggie who will be joining us in October. We are following God to Lima, Peru, where we will take our ministry, Reach Villa, to the people of Villa El Salvador. This is a community located in Lima, where we have developed a strategy to reach the people through PLANTING churches with NATIONAL Pastors and OUTREACH through a pregnancy care center and a physical therapy clinic. Your purchase will help offset the cost to help us move to Peru so that we can begin showing the people the love of Jesus Christ! Thank you so much for all of your support!
My name is Kimberly Mooney, and God has blessed me with an invitation to Senegal, West Africa. I will be going in November of 2018 with a group of students, and two leaders. This will be my first out of the country mission, and I’m full of emotions. God has blessed me with a heart that breaks for the under-served and broken. We know our true peace comes from our Creator God. Many of these families know nothing of God, and/or could die because of their choice to follow Christ in their walk. I will get to live life-on-life for 10 days with these that God created, we will have the opportunity to love them, help them, and show them the light that God is.
I am the mother of two really neat kids, and a wife to an amazing husband. I love serving, and if I had the time and resources to always love the broken, I would. I frequently volunteer with the homeless population in Springfield, Missouri, primarily women. My heart is always so blessed in helping. God put that on overdrive and began to stir my heart a few months ago. I reached out to my former pastor and an invitation was instant. God wants me in Senegal.
I have a heart that breaks, and I believe God can and will use that to help, and serve these people.
I absolutely covet your prayers for this mission, that God would continue to bless this process. There is so much of the Muslim culture for me to learn, so many vaccines for me to get, and much preparation for my children to have their Mama gone for at least 10 days. Our family is excited about this journey.
With this mission comes the need for funding. The flight to Senegal is the most costly, and the immunizations are quite pricey as well. (In fact, I will be driving to St. Louis in a few weeks to get them-there is a current shortage in the US for the yellow fever inoculation). Your prayers, funding, and support are my vehicle there to help serve. We are called to either give or go. I’m willing to be obedient and go. I thank you in advance for your support, I truly do. I ask that you please help me reach my financial goal.

We are currently fundraising to start an in home Daddy Day Care pilot program that will accommodate young fathers and up to 4 children. Quality child care is needed in homes to fit the demands of normality for dads in transition with young children. As things change it is our goal to help young fathers succeed and to meet them where they are! The Purchase of each shirt Raises Money and Awareness for self sustainability projects and program collaborations within the black community!
Renaissance Church is a protestant church located in Little Burgundy, a neighbourhood of Montreal. Our church began a few years ago when a group of Christians started a Bible study and began to try to meet various needs in our community. From there, we started to meet once a month as a church and launched our weekly worship gatherings in January 2015. Since launching our worship gathering, we have tried to be a church that shares Jesus in everyday life and to meet practical needs of people as a way to demonstrate how God has so richly served us, as is evidently displayed through Jesus. To do this, we have created various small groups that meet throughout the week where we talk about the Bible, share everyday life with one another, and seek to serve the city in various ways. We also meet collectively as a church on Sundays at 555 Rue de Seigneurs, at 10am. We are a church that is committed to sharing the Gospel and our lives with others and have a passion for church planting and training our local church on how to use their own gifts, talents and passions to share their lives and the Gospel in everyday contexts.
