As you’ve probably guessed, we can’t give you a straight answer, yet. First of all, the cost of your custom t-shirt will depend greatly on the company you hire to create your screen printed tee. Every company charges differently, depending upon the level of quality. Second, your overall price depends upon several different factors. The following are some of the details that will affect the price of your screen printed tees.
Ink Colors
To create a custom t-shirt, screen printing companies create screens made of mesh with aluminum frames. The frames are set up on an automatic printing press. The ink is pushed through the screen to print the design. For the process to work correctly, a unique screen must be created for each color in your design. The more colors, the more screens. The more screens, the time and expense. Some companies charge a screen fee. At the Greek Corner, we do not charge for screens. Also note, if you want a custom color, the company can mix it to your specifications. More than likely, that will be an additional expense.
Locations
Although most custom t-shirts have a design printed on center-front or center back. However, you can have your design printed just about anywhere on the t-shirt.

Due to production requirements, many companies require a minimum order. At The Greek Corner, we require a minimum order of twelve shirts. Believe it or not, it takes just as much work to set up a job to print 12 t-shirts as it does to print 1,000 t-shirts. Therefore, the more t-shirts you order, the lower the unit price.
